Our jewellery is made to be worn every day. A few habits are enough to keep it looking new.
What you can do
Wear your stainless steel pieces in the shower, in the sea, in the pool and at the gym: water and perspiration are no threat to them. 925 sterling silver handles daily life, but it is better to take it off before a long swim.
What is best avoided
Perfume and hairspray directly on the piece. Put your jewellery on last, once everything else is dry. It is not the metal that suffers, it is the film that settles on it and dulls the shine.
The resin pieces, Rosée collection
The drops in the Rosée collection are made of translucent resin. That material is what gives them their living-water effect, but it asks for a little more care than metal.
Avoid all contact with perfume, hairspray, alcohol and sun creams: they dull the resin and can yellow it over time. Take these pieces off before showering, swimming and sport. Store them flat, out of direct sunlight, and never against another piece: resin scratches more easily than metal.
Cleaning: a soft, dry cloth only, no soapy water and no products.
Cleaning the metal
A soft, dry cloth, or lukewarm water with a drop of soap followed by thorough drying. Never an abrasive product or bicarbonate. If the silver has oxidised slightly, a silver polishing cloth brings the shine back in a few passes.
Storing
Flat, away from damp, chains fastened. A tangled chain wears out faster than a chain you wear.
